SOS Chrétiens d'Orient raises a giant cross at an altitude of 2100 meters in Armenia

Helped by the villagers, the volunteers were able to erect a cross 6 meters high, and now have the project to illuminate it.

It is on the occasion of Pentecost that the volunteers of SOS Christians of the East have stood on a mountain a 6-meter iron cross in Armenia. Helped by the inhabitants of Hovtun, a rural village 50 kilometers from the country's second city, Gyumri.

All the volunteers of SOS Chrétiens d'Orient, accompanied by the villagers, joined forces to build this metal cross, which now rises to 2100 meters above sea level. And the project is now to illuminate it!

And this is not the only project of the charity. Their twitter account testifies to their investment in Armenia, whether it is aid in terms of hygiene or food, the attention given to the youngest, work or even moments spent with displaced families of the Artsakh.
