Pastor goes to war with Santa Claus in shopping malls

This is a story that only America sometimes knows. An “Anti Santa Claus” pastor roams shopping centers to denounce the legend of Santa Claus.

David Grisham has chosen a rather unique and somewhat aggressive method of evangelism. He also encountered firm opposition from parents in the galleries of shopping centers. The Texan pastor walks the halls equipped with a megaphone and a fluorescent T-shirt, revealing the truth about Santa Claus to the children, in front of the astonished eyes of the helpless parents.

“The man you're going to see today is just a man in a Santa Claus costume, but Santa doesn't exist… Christmas is a time to talk about Jesus.”

A few years ago, Grisham had already made people talk about him by opening fire on a figurine representing Santa Claus, to punish him for “his crimes against the Lord our God”.

The belief of the children of Christians in Santa Claus can indeed be reflected within the framework of the couple and the family. Is it helpful to let our children think that Santa Claus exists when we teach them faith in Jesus? We can easily imagine the confusion that can be established in their hearts, especially when they grow up and discover the “little secret” about Santa Claus. But all this remains the responsibility of Christian parents. Not sure that this initiative will convince the crowds.
