New Gospel Family, a French gospel group celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year, will perform on September 25 on the Bataclan stage.

While the trial of the attacks of November 13, 2015 opened last week, Wednesday November 8, the largest French gospel group, New Gospel Family is preparing to perform on the Bataclan stage on September 25.

“We want to show that Life is stronger than these destructive acts. We want to affirm that Joy, Peace, Love and Life prevail over fear, terror and death. »Proclaims the group in the press release of the concert.

He specifies, however, that he does not want to “forget the facts, nor sing as if nothing had happened in 2015”. But in this place “damaged” by this terrible event, he hopes that a gospel concert will be able to “change the atmosphere and bring life”.

New Gospel Family, which addresses all styles of gospel and appeals to all generations, was created in 2001 and is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year. Twenty busy years with already more than 1200 concerts to his credit, including three at the Olympia and two at the Zenith.

The notoriety of the group, made up of about twenty young choristers and musicians on average aged 25, goes beyond the borders of France which has given it the opportunity to perform alongside international stars such as Stevie Wonder, Céline Dion. , Tina Arena or Julio Iglesias.
