Pastor Katy Perry's father assaulted because of his daughter's videos

Katy Perry's father, Keith Hudson, who serves as a pastor, was recently confronted by an angry mother who called her daughter's music "satanic." According to her, they will both go to hell, as will the millions of people who watch the singer's videos.

Lhe scene took place at the exit of a Christian radio station, where Keith Hudson was on a show, in Phoenix, Arizona. The woman at the origin of the virulent comments, a certain Christine of whom we do not know much, also questioned the pastor's ability to be a good Christian leader.katy-perry-222

She violently slandered the pastor and Katy Perry:

“Help your daughter, because it's more than necessary! You should know better than anyone, when you've got a daughter walking around with Satan like she does. […] She will take you right to hell with her, along with the millions of young women and men who watch her videos! The fruit of your tree is rotten, along with your daughter! ".

Keith Hudson replied that he had nothing to do with his daughter's videos, and asked this woman: “Do you think you are acting like a Christian right now? " A question that did not lead to the slightest questioning in Christine since she would have answered that as a Christian she has the right to judge Pastor Hudson and his daughter.

Hudson said he was still worried about being physically assaulted and said of Christine she was “A bitter, angry woman who tries to blame my child for her child's mistakes. " The pastor added that if the exchange ended peacefully, he wouldn't be surprised if this person was waiting for him outside his church one day soon.

In 2013, in an interview with Marie Claire magazine, singer Katy Perry confided that she was no longer a Christian and did not believe in heaven, hell or "an old man sitting on a throne" but only in higher power. While no longer adhering to Christianity, Perry said she still feels close to God and practices Transcendental Meditation, a form of mantra meditation.

“I am not a Buddhist, I am not a Hindu, I am not a Christian, but I still feel that I have a deep connection with God,” she said at the time. "I pray all the time - for self-control, humility, gratitude… Sometimes just saying thank you is better than asking for things…"

Katy Perry's parents have previously expressed their sadness over their daughter's decision to give up her faith and promote a worldview that goes against the Bible instruction they gave her.

"Satan's attack on our youth is relentless, and they cannot fight alone," wrote Mary Hudson, Katy Perry's mother, in Charisma magazine. "Parents must use the natural authority that God has given them so as not to let them grow up on their own."
