If he is not a believer, Elon Musk recognizes "the great wisdom" of the teaching of Jesus

Tesla co-founder Elon Musk is not a Christian, yet in a recent podcast interview he claimed to have a great deal of respect for the teachings of Jesus.

In a recent interview for the Babylon Bee podcast, a curative satirical Christian news website that is interested in religion and politics, Tesla co-founder Elon Musk shared his take on Jesus.

At the end of the interview he was invited by the podcast hosts to accept Jesus as his Savior and Lord.

"I agree with the principles that Jesus advocated and there is great wisdom in the teaching of Jesus and I agree with those teachings," replied the entrepreneur, avoiding the question.

“Things like turning the other cheek are very important as opposed to an eye for an eye. One eye for an eye makes everyone blind, ”he continued.

Although he expressed his respect for the son of God, he explained that he was, on a personal level, more aligned with Spinoza's vision of God.

"As Einstein would say, 'I believe in the God of Spinoza'," he said, referring to a Albert Einstein statement who had written: "I believe in the God of Spinoza, who reveals himself in the harmonious order of what exists, and not in a God who is preoccupied with the fate and actions of human beings".

Still, he then added, “But hey, if Jesus saves people, I mean, I won't stand in his way. Of course, I will be saved. Why not ? "

An answer that seems to have satisfied the animators of Babylon Bee who then cried out: "I think he just said yes!" We got it! ".

They then asked him if he wanted to be baptized but Elon Musk claimed he already was, the entrepreneur would have been baptized when he was a baby.
