"God brought me back from afar": Justin Bieber looks back on his past to recall the power of forgiveness

Justin Bieber published a post on Instagram in which he talks about his tumultuous past and the place of God in his life.

On no longer presents Justin Bieber, the 26-year-old Canadian singer who does not hesitate to display his faith in Christ. For some time, the star has also multiplied messages of encouragement on social networks, always with a Christian prism.

Sunday January 25, Hailey Bieber's husband posted on his account Instagram a photo of him, taken 7 years ago. Hood over his head, handcuffs and escorted by the police, this is a cliché ofa dark moment in his life, "Not my most glorious moment," he writes.

The singer posted this photo to remember that God "brought him back from afar". He evokes this path he has traveled thanks to the Lord and reveals the power of forgiveness: “let Jesus' forgiveness take over and watch your life blossom in all that God has planned for you”.

Above all, he encourages not to “let shame ruin” the present, but rather to see the past as a reminder of how far we have come.

A post shared by Justin Bieber (@justinbieber)

“Seven years ago today, I was arrested, it was not my most glorious moment. I'm not proud of where I was in my life. I was hurt, unhappy, confused, unhappy, misled, misunderstood and angry with God. I also wore too much leather for someone living in Miami. All this to say that God has brought me back from afar. I realize today that God was as close to me then as He is now. I encourage you to let your past remind you of the path God has helped you take. Don't let shame ruin your 'today', let Jesus' forgiveness take over and watch your life blossom into all that God has planned for you. I love you guys, with all my heart! "

A message of encouragement that hit the mark since Justin Bieber's post has already been "liked" over 7 million many times!
