Billy Graham's son Franklin Graham has announced that he will travel to Ukraine this Easter to share a message about Jesus "that the whole world needs to hear".
Franklin Graham announced on the website of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association that he would go to Ukraine this Sunday April 17 on the occasion of Easter to preach.
“I will share a message the whole world needs to hear: Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, defeated sin and death 2 years ago when He rose victorious from the grave. This Good News changes everything – for individual hearts, for communities and for entire nations. »
Dance a post shared on Facebook, the pastor announced that this sermon would be broadcast on the American television channel Fox News on April 17 at 12:00 p.m.
"My deepest gratitude to my father's friend Billy Graham, Mr. Rupert Murdoch, who provides television airtime for this," the evangelist said. “I hope you will mark your calendars and plan to watch as we celebrate the reason for our hope – JESUS IS ALIVE! he continued before calling to pray "for the Ukrainian people".
Franklin Graham surrendered a few days ago in the war-affected country where two of its ministries operate on the ground: the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) and Samaritan's Purse who are doing their best to help people.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine which took place on February 24, the evangelist has repeatedly encouraged prayers for the country at war. Like the Pope Francis and other Christian leaders Europeans, he notably wrote to the Russian and Ukrainian presidents to ask them for a ceasefire from April 15 to 24 on the occasion of Easter.
