To end the 2022 edition of the Month of the Bible in style, the French Biblical Alliance is joining forces with the Protestant Radio Platform to offer an exceptional live performance on Thursday March 31 from 20 p.m. to 22:30 p.m. Several artists will follow one another on the set to shed light on this year's theme: "When the Bible inspires artists".
Like every year for five years now, bible month takes place throughout the month of March. On the initiative of the French Bible Alliance, this action aims to arouse interest around the Bible and to make the general public aware of the diversity of existing translations.
More than 200 religious bookstores take part in this national event by fitting out their windows, organizing special events or distributing material designed for the occasion (magazines, bookmarks, etc.).
The theme of this edition “When the Bible inspires artists” is an opportunity to question the influence that this thousand-year-old text could (and still can) exert on the cultural level.
Various artistic domains have thus been investigated, whether it be literature, cinema, dance or even music. The Bible has deeply nourished the imagination and creativity of artists throughout the ages.
As the high point of these festivities, a live closing of the Month of the Bible is proposed Thursday, March 31 from 20:00 p.m. to 22:30 p.m. It will be broadcast on the YouTube channel of the French Bible Alliance and on the social networks of the various partners, including Christian Info.
During this exceptional evening, artists (Meak, Benjamin Pouzin from Glorious, etc.) as well as columnists (Jean-Luc Gadreau, PRIXM, etc.) will be present.
