A condemned man meets Jesus through the forgiveness shown by the family of his victim

Kenneth Williams was executed by lethal injection on April 27, 2017, at Cummins Prison in Arkansas, but before he died he was able to experience forgiveness in Jesus.

En 1998, Kenneth killed a cheerleader, Dominique Heard. He later murdered Cecil Boren, stole his car and killed another person in an accident. Kenneth Williams was sentenced to death. But Dominique Heard's mother did something remarkable. She forgave him. During the trial, she said:

“I forgive Kenneth Williams. My daughter, Dominique 'Nikki' Hurd, was a forgiven person… I don't want him to be put to death… His death will not bring my daughter back… I pray that Kenneth Williams will give his heart to Jesus before leaving this world. "

These words of grace led Kenneth to discover the gospel message.

“I was stabilized and sustained by the inner peace and forgiveness I received through my relationship with Jesus Christ. "

Kenneth admitted full responsibility for his crimes. According to The Guardian, on the execution table, he asked forgiveness from all the families of the victims and he said:

“I was more than wrong. The crimes I committed against you were senseless, extremely painful and unforgivable. I humbly ask your forgiveness, and I pray that you find the peace, healing and restoration that you deserve. "
