Ukraine emergency: The association La Gerbe takes up the challenge

A new heavyweight has just left La Gerbe, this Thursday, May 12, in the direction of Rivne in Ukraine.

For two and a half months, the association La Gerbe has taken up the challenge of meeting the many needs from Ukraine. Donations are growing, volunteer helpers to collect, sort, store and label are increasing and 18 tonnes of material are leaving each week compared to 10 tonnes per month before the start of the war.

Between food, hygiene products, beds and mattresses, baby products, generators or even tools, each truck is loaded with different pallets according to the specific needs identified. This material is sent to the various partner associations of La Gerbe: Charité in Vinnytsia, Spirit of Victory in Mukachevo and Opération Mobilization in Rivne, which then redistribute it to other associations and churches throughout the country.
