A Christian organization supports internally displaced people in a DRC camp

"This is something I never imagined would happen to my family or to me. I thank God and ICC for the help I call 'manna from heaven' and with that I know our lives will never will never be the same again!"

Kobisi is 70 years old. She lives in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Previously, she lived in Komanda. Then the militants of the ADF, Islamist rebels, arrived and made him flee into the forest, before finding refuge in Bunia, in a camp for internally displaced people.

There, she was able to reunite with her five grandchildren. Kobisi multiplies odd jobs to support his family.

It was then that the organization for the defense of persecuted Christians International Christian Concern (ICC) was able to meet her and commit to supporting her.

For Kobisi, this support is "manna from heaven".

"This is something I never imagined would happen to my family or to me. I thank God and ICC for the help I call 'manna from heaven' and with that I know our lives will never will never be the same again!"

Like Kobisi, ICC supports several families in Bunia.

"Your help is beyond my imagination! At this moment, we no longer remember what we have lost, and we know for the moment that we are here in Bunia, we have a family! I am not afraid of anything “, asserts one of them, “we have nothing to give you in return, but we simply give you God and all the blessings of Deuteronomy 28”.
