“He leaves a unique legacy in the missions. His work has reached children, widows, people struggling with hunger and thirst. Seeds left, Bibles distributed and lives saved by the Lord because of their dedication at work are innumerable."
The Brazilian missionary Francisco Antonio Chagas Barbosa was shot. His body was found in his burnt-out car in Nairobi, Kenya.
This 39-year-old man, who has been carrying out missions in Kenya since 2011, has been missing since last Wednesday.
His wife, Franciane Barbosa, spoke on the page Facebook of the missionary organization for which he worked.
“He leaves a unique legacy in the missions. His work has reached children, widows, people struggling with hunger and thirst. Seeds left, Bibles distributed and lives saved by the Lord because of their dedication at work are innumerable."
“The police are investigating,” she explains in the video shared by the Missão Crista Mundial, "in the images it appears that Francisco was in the car. Two men took him, put him inside the car, he tried to get out and, at that moment, he was executed. Not knowing what they were going to do, they set fire to the car. The car we found with this body really belonged to Francisco."
