The Philippines has been hit by the most powerful typhoon recorded this year in the country.

The sixth victim, an elderly man, died in a landslide in the municipality of Burdeos, on the Polillo Islands, in the province of Quezon.
On Sunday, Noru inflicted high winds and heavy rain on the heavily populated main island of Luzon. The typhoon made landfall at 17:30 p.m. local time (09 GMT) in the municipality of Burdeos on the Polillo Islands, which is part of the province of Quezon.
