Pray for those who struggle with uncontrollable thoughts
In my many years of ministry, I have encountered Christians who struggled with all kinds of evil thoughts.
I have seen some seek solutions in deliverance and exorcisms, others went to psychiatrists, others sought after various deliverance ministries, and went from conference to conference, others continued to struggle with their strength while counting on the Lord to help them, others abandoned the faith because the fight was too hard... Fortunately many found peace!
I salute the courage and determination of all these beloved ones to find a solution to their problem. This makes me think of the woman with the issue of blood "who had spent all her wealth on doctors, but none could heal her" (Luke 8:43). What perseverance!
Many are tormented with this, and wonder if the Lord can forgive these daily evil thoughts? I've noticed that the more we fight against these thoughts, the more of them there are.
To get out of it, we must realize that our identity does not reside in what we think, but in Jesus.
As you struggle with your uncontrollable thoughts, we will pray with you and for you:
"Lord, we pray that our beloved brothers and sisters, who are struggling with terrible struggles with their thoughts, may be delivered from this burden, and find peace, by being intentional, by choosing object of their thoughts.
We ask you that they maintain their thoughts towards your glory, your person, your majesty, your love.
Lord, on this day, may they decide to entertain their minds with songs, praises, your promises, your faithfulness, and experience a renewal of their minds, in the name of Jesus, amen!”
