Angel Studios will release a feature film called The Shift, in which Christian actor Neal McDonough will play the role of Satan.
In an interview with Christian post, Neal McDonough explains that he had initially chosen not to play this role, before changing his mind. It was his wife who convinced him to play the devil.
"She was like, 'You look puzzled; what's wrong?' God ?"
"I'm so grateful that she convinced me to do it," the actor explains, "because when you play characters like this, you learn so much about yourself and how blessed I am. to have his support in everything I do, to have all the gifts God has given me in my life. My amazing wife, five kids, the movies and TV shows, everything!"

The Shift is set in a science fiction world, showing the struggle to maintain faith in God in the midst of a great trial, can we read in the synopsis of the movie. Angels Studio announces a film "full of Christian values".
"A team of talented professionals (who also believe in God, which we find crucial to making a story about God) are already working on this film, including executive producer Dallas Jenkins, the creator of The Chosen."
