"A shocking scene happened, a dozen people with the help of their leader, started picking up stones and throwing stones at us like crazy, countless stones fell around us and fell into the sea. "

Trinity Harvest Gospel Christians in the city of Shenzhen were again attacked during a baptism service on the beach on September 10.

It's not the first time this has happened. On April 16, their baptismal service was arrested by the police while a Christian had inadvertently published a photo of the event on social networks.

On September 10, everything had been organized in the greatest secrecy by Pastor Mao Zhibin. But, upon arrival on the beach, the Christians had to scan their Covid app, giving their location.

As they gathered for a group photo, more than twenty people arrived to stop them. They were not in uniform but tried to prevent church members from taking pictures.

Accompanied by pastor Wu Lixin, the pastor entered the water to continue the baptisms, but the crowd told them that religious activities were not allowed in this place. A dozen passers-by then started throwing stones at them. Despite this, Christians continued to be baptized.

Pastor Mao Zhibin testifies on Facebook.

"A shocking scene happened, a dozen people with the help of their leader, started picking up stones and throwing stones at us like crazy, countless stones fell around us and fell into the sea. "

But “the stones did not hit us,” he continues.

After the baptism, the Christians went to a restaurant to eat together, where they were once again identified and watched by the crowd.
