Famous for christening his stuffed animals, 5-year-old Luke Tilleman gave his first sermon
"He was so adamant and obsessed with baptism that I couldn't deny he understood something he wanted to do. And the same goes for preaching."
You probably remember this happy little boy in a hurry to baptize his plush Chase from Paw Patrol. "He needs the Holy Spirit," said Luke Tilleman, to argue this decision. ÂOnly 5 years old, he has just preached his first sermon in the church of his father, Ezra Tillman Jr.
Quoting John 3:16, and before the congregation of the First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, he spoke of the love of God.
"I'm going to talk about the love of God. The love of God, he gave his only begotten Son."
"He was so adamant and obsessed with baptism that I couldn't deny he understood something he wanted to do," says son père, "and so it is with preaching. All day, every day, he preaches".
"He says things that he hasn't been taught," he said.
