“We have lost a devoted servant of Christ,” laments a pastor in Uganda, after going to the scene where the lifeless body of an evangelist named Herbert. Herbert, 42, was returning home on April 8 when he was attacked by "Muslim extremists", sources told Morning Star News.
It was a local Christian, who witnessed the start of the evangelist's attack, who was able to notify the police.

“The police asked me to take them to the site where the incident happened the next morning,” he continued. It was therefore accompanied by the pastor that, the following day, this witness went to the scene with the police.
"He was lying in a pool of blood with deep cuts to his head, back and hands," he said. The pastor mourns the death of a "wonderful and gifted evangelist". He was known for his ministry to certain Muslim communities.
