Bear Grylls, the famous adventurer, made his dream come true by being baptized in the Jordan River, where Jesus himself was baptized.
On his Instagram account, followed by 6.6 million people, Bear Grylls recently posted a photo of himself in the waters of the Jordan during his baptism, which he described as the realization of a "dream".
In the caption accompanying the photo, he praised John the Baptist and Luke and recalled that "wherever Jesus went, a new birth, a new life and a new vision followed."
"I have always dreamed of entering the water in which Jesus was baptized by my hero John the Baptist. The story is so amazing, and it seems that wherever Jesus went, a new birth, a new life , a new vision followed. Luke (in the Bible) was probably a Syrian doctor before he met Jesus. He writes a reliable and poignant account of his life. It's short. I like it. #adventure #life #nevergiveup "
The place where he was baptized is known as "Bethany beyond the Jordan" and is located at al-Maghtas, on the east bank of the Jordan. It is a world heritage site visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year, reports Christian today.
Bear Grylls, followed by millions of fans around the world, is a British adventurer well known for his television show called "Man vs. Wild".
