
The Lord takes care of us, he loves us, he is there, even when we do not feel it. The Scriptures strengthen us, they help us to move forward, to grow in our faith and to encourage us in difficult times. Here are ten verses to read (and re-read!) when all seems dark to remind us that God is faithful and does not abandon us.
Romans 8:28:
“We know, moreover, that all things work together for the good of those who love God, of those who are called according to his design. "
Psalm 27:13-14:
" Oh ! if I were not sure to see the goodness of the Eternal On the land of the living!... Hope in the Eternal! Strengthen yourself and strengthen your heart! Hope in the Lord! »
John 16:33:
“I have told you these things, so that you may have peace in me. You will have tribulations in the world; but take courage, I have conquered the world. »
Isaiah 41:10:
“Do not be afraid, for I am with you; Do not cast anxious glances, for I am your God; I strengthen you, I come to your aid, I support you with my triumphant right hand. »
Hebrews 13: 5:
“Do not indulge in the love of money; be content with what you have; for God himself said, I will not leave you, nor forsake you. »
Philippians 4:6:
" Do not worry about anything; but in all things make your needs known to God by prayers and supplications, with thanksgiving. "
Romans 15:13:
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in faith, that you may abound in hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit! »
Psalm 9:9:
“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. »
Matthew 11:28:
“Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. "
Isaiah 49:15-16:
“Does a woman forget the child she breastfeeds? Does she not pity the fruit of her womb? When she forgets him, I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on my hands; Your walls are always in front of my eyes. »
